The Wojciech Kętrzyński Museum

The Museum is located in the castle and has possession of items mainly related to the city’s and region’s history and archival materials, which were secured by Zofia Licharewa – the founder of the Museum – in the first few postwar years. Exceptional examples of exhibits are: a collection of sculptures(end of 15th century), epitaphs(16th-18th centuries), a funeral banner, a compilation of city’s and guilds’ seals and a collection of coins and medals(17th-19th centuries).
